Bacteriophages

Bacteriophages are among the most common and diverse entities in the biosphere. Many studies have shown that the application of phages in bacterial therapy or biocontrol is possible, but the practical results have not been successful due to the lack of full coverage of target bacteria and the rapid emergence of bacterial mutations leading to complete resistance against phage infection. Furthermore, the development of phage-neutralizing antibodies is another possible problem which may hamper phage effectiveness in lysing targeted bacteria in vivo.

ABR has been able to overcome these hurdles, and is able to help companies and research institutes by providing them with great solutions to produce the non-genetic phage programming technology, which is used to produce smart lytic phage with a very destructive killing index on multidrug resistant bacteria.
